Dowel Jig Systems

The complete joining systems. There are two main Classic systems: Classic 3/8 for imperial 3/8″ dowels and Classic 10 mm for metric 10 mm dowels. They share the same design and specification apart from dowel size, and Dowelmax recommends the 3/8 system in North America and the 10 mm system elsewhere, based on the dowel size most commonly available in the country of use. A Classic includes everything needed for approximately 75% of joint requirements in material from ¾ inch (18 mm) up to 4 x 4″. Also here: the Junior 3/8 system, which is fully upgradeable to a Classic by buying additional parts; the 45° Miter System, a dedicated setup for box-type miter joints; and, when supply allows, mechanically perfect Classic units sold as cosmetic B-Stock.
